The World Tennis Challenge players were officially welcomed to Adelaide this morning ahead of the opening night of play at Memorial Drive.
Players arrived at Pinky Flat via Eco Caddies before an open media call, as part of World Tennis Challenge Kids Tennis Day celebrations.
Eco Caddies transported the players from their hotel, along the Riverbank Footbridge to Pinky Flat where they were welcomed to the city by Steven Baldas – Tennis SA CEO and David Hearne – General Manager WTC.
Following the media call, Cash and Borna Coric spent time at The Advertiser Autograph Island, while Fernando Verdasco joined Leconte on the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots courts to have a hit with some of the youngsters who were enjoying WTC Kids Tennis Day.
World Tennis Challenge is proudly supported by the South Australian Government through the South Australian Tourism Commission. The event will take place at Memorial Drive in Adelaide, South Australia from Monday 7 to Tuesday 8 January 2019.
Tennis action begins from 6.30 pm each night. Tickets are on sale via Ticketek and start from $6 for children and $31 for adults.
