The 2011 WTC Be Active Challenge is a mass participation tennis event to be hosted in Adelaide throughout January.
WTC Be Active Challenge is a world wide international teams event incorporating twelve tennis participation events. The aim of the WTC Be Active Challenge is to become the biggest amateur team tennis event in the world over the next three years.
The 2010 WTC Be Active Challenge attracted over 2,000 participants with many from interstate and overseas. If you are heading to the Australian Open there is no better way to start your trip than to get some friends together and come and play in the WTC Be Active Challenge. Register your team or nominate for a team by contacting Tennis SA.
The WTC Be Active Challenge is managed by Tennis SA with a vision to host a participation tournament that attracts club players and social players from all over the world. Competitive and social players are invited to participate in this unique event with opportunities for juniors, open and senior players to participate. The event will cater for players of all ages and abilities and is aimed at harnessing the values and benefits of physical activity and "social connectivity". Teams entering will range from competitive Saturday afternoon warriors to social night tennis players.
